confident: Hicursei always knew what she was worth. she was good at what she did, and refused to suffer others putting her down. she did the same for her hunters - every wolf in her team brought their own talents with them, and any dismissal of them would earn a solid scolding.

driven: born to the skilled hunters Argamiwou and Irhakrou, and sired by the first lead scout Oroulepac, Hicursei refused to settle for anything less. she never expected success given to her freely; she just worked for it, and kept on working until she got it.

Irhakrou: mother. when Irhakrou and Argamiwou became mates, they agreed that each of their pups would be the other's too, in their hearts. this promise was fulfilled when Hicursei was born, and for every litter on. it was from Irhakrou that Hicursei learned to believe in her own skills, and to reject the voices that said you were not good enough, even when that voice was your own.

Argamiwou: mother.

Oroulepac: sire. Hicursei and Oroulepac were related by blood alone - she had two parents already, and he had a drive to wander far afield for moons on end. still, she was the only one of his children to remain with the Pines, and they were both proud to call each other kin.

Sintetus: younger brother.

Torsec: younger sister.

Urwain'ghrac: companion. when Urwain'ghrac's hopes of leadership became clear, Hicursei decided that she would gladly get her there. she saw in the younger wolf her own drive to succeed - and Hicursei, ambitious as she was, never wanted to lead the pack in its entirety. Urwain'ghrac did, and moreover she would excel at it. and that she did.
