As the first leader of the Adder's Tongue Pack, Moss is a clever and hardworking wolf, though she is prone to taking on more than she can handle due to her independent nature. When she finds herself in over her head though, her mate Ptarmigan always is there to offer support. Moss has a close relationship to her pups Rowan, Fallow, and Hart, though Hart tends to keep her at an arm's length. Moss feels a deep connection to the changing seasons, and thus has implemented some traditions that reflect the pack's emphasis on change. Crowned as the First Autumn Lead, she is optimistic about the pack's future long after her rule.
Moss is in many ways a spiritual leader for her pack, and she confides in the Herbalist Spruce to discuss such matters. The Adder's Tongue Pack Leader has the duty of traversing the Lunar Plain each month, which occurs immediately after the less spiritual tradition of the Night of Council. Moss has chosen to keep this spiritual journey a secret to all pack members excluding her mate Ptarmigan, the Herbalist Spruce, and Rowan, who has been chosen as the next pack lead after Moss.
