Biography
Silver-tongued and quick-witted, the second son of Lady Selene feels that he needs to constantly try to one-up his older brother in order to earn his place in the pack and prove how smart he is. A bit arrogant, and a little bit ambiguous morality-wise, Baldr has lofty ambitions.
There have been whispers about his involvement in the "accidental" death of his sister Kala, his mother's first heir, thinking perhaps that the pup's unexpected and devastating loss would result in some kind of opening for him to assert his own power. No one is truly brazen enough to voice these suspicions to his face, but he has done what he can to snuff out the rumors.
He acts very aloof when it comes to his sister Lady Siri. He doesn't seem to care one way or another what she does.
When he grew old and tired, Lady Siri took the opportunity to delicately ask him about her sister. Baldr revealed to her that he had been there with little Kala when she fell to her death and that he did nothing to stop it from happening, his inaction stemming from some morbid hope of being seen as a worthy replacement heir in his mother's eyes. He also told her how he felt immense regret and grief the second it was over. Lady Siri is the only one he ever told this story.
AFTER DEATH
A visitation from the spirit of Lord Baldr is less one of wonder and honor and is instead more of a foreboding sign of difficult times ahead. Whenever he's seen by the descendants of Nightwood, Lord Baldr's presence commands respect and no small amount of fear, as his spirit is not only a deceitful trickster but also a bad omen. The Lady of NIghtwood must steel herself and her family for hardships when confronted by Lord Baldr.
