When Loki set out to make his path, he was shadowed by a wolf his same age. They had no family ties but together they paved the way for Golden Circle's past. Sigyn herself came from a far off pack called Oxen pass. At that time she had no name, never named a true member of that pack and instead born of it she moved on quickly. When she met Loki she did believe he would pair with her but in truth they never did settle for each other. Together they recognized that while they were stronger together, they didn't necessarily have to be romantically inclined. So now they are partners who occasionally pair to create a stronger next generation.
Alva was quite young when she joined but in a few short months she had easily caught up. Sigyn taught her to hunt, while Alva taught her the ways of the heart. Long had Sigyn locked off the romance within her heart but Alva taught her the truth behind their relationship. Before long the two females were spending their every day with one another. They looked to Loki to produce them children that they together could raise. Which they did, over and over again. Sending them off to have lives of their own. But now as Sigyn and Alva get older they are settling upon an heir of their own. Hoping that in these twilight years they can pass the torch.
