Laurel has a soft voice and an even softer heart. She allows her sister to do most of the talking.
Kin and Heron argue over whether or not Heron should continue "training" her. Kin believes it's quite clear that Laurel has chosen to scout instead, while Heron points out that Laurel fears leaving Locust's side, and if she got over her fears as a pup it would be better in the long run. Kin is currently talking with Scout Lea about a possible apprenticeship.

Upon aging up as her mother had her next pups, Laurel surprised both Kin and Heron by joining her dad as a pup-sitter. Everyone else is skeptical that Laurel will stay with that job, but Laurel herself seems pretty happy keeping an eye on the pups. Laurel's currently watching just one, her new half-sister Jawbone, while Goose and Darling take the rest.
