Guardian ♦️

Co-Founder of Riverside Forest, Alpha Male of the Odyne Pack, and mate to River.

Originating from a small pack of the alpha pair and his 4 sisters, Guardian was always the one who had to take care of his siblings. He is an excellent hunter, being able to haul in the best prey, as well as skilled at keeping intruders out of his territory.

His parents often clashed due to his father's need for dominance, often resulting in punishments and serious injuries due to the alpha male's brute strength. As Guardian and his siblings grew older and more rebellious, the alpha's aggression would turn on them, as he ruled the pack with fear. Because of this, Guardian spent a lot of time alone exploring their territory, or visiting with his cousins in their home turf. Once Guardian reached adulthood, he was able to overpower and overthrow the alpha, who had grown frail with age, freeing his mother and siblings from his wrath. 

It was during one of these excursions that Guardian met River, a young, sheltered female from a neighboring pack. Guardian's original curiosity quickly became more as the pair continued to visit each other, howling to each other each night from their respective packs. However, River had her own pack issues, and after some time the alphas of her pack attempted to keep them apart. This devastated Guardian, whom often looked to River for support, and vice versa. Because of this, the young pair soon decided to leave to form their own pack, far away from their natal packs. 

They have had puppies every season since their arrival at their new territory, and a few of their offspring have decided to stay close to their parent's pack, where they are able to stay in touch and share stories of their many adventures.
