As a werewolf whose been used, beaten, abused, and almost killed on several occasions, Kókkino has learned a thing or two about survival. She was once a faceless, merciless fighter of the Klouvi, destroying her opponants. Hate and revenge fueled her, allowing her to rise to the top of the charts, for better or worse. 

When Kókkino was finally freed from the Klouvi, she turned that hate and revenge on them. She went out on her own, using skills that the Klouvi fostered to become one of the biggest solo assassins in the industry. Each one became simply a new adventure. That's what put her on Cinder's list of resources. 

What nobody knew was that this deadly assassin, though broken and always bloody, had never lost her heart. It may have frozen over and become solid as rock, but there was always a place for Tanto. He was a foolish, naive human. And he won her heart. When Kókkino joined Cinder's pack, to work as an assassin rather than to hide, Cinder found out that Kókkino had taught Tanto everything she knew and hid him from the world. She even sacrificed herself to the Klouvi so that he could escape. Humans didn't make it long in that ring. With Kókkino's permission, Cinder found him and brought him into the folds of the pack. It was then discovered that Kókkino truly did have a heart.

Kókkino still carries out hits and missions with Cinder, or without, but now she's got a mate to come back to, and a pack who she'd kill for. Not to mention she and Tanto have practically adopted a certain retired stud whom Kókkino had saved as a teen. Amastsu adores his badass, adoptive parents.
