Domitian

- Meaning "tamed"

Domitian was born to a family of nobility, claiming him a forever prince. He was the second born to a litter of two males, and his brother was chosen as the heir to the thrown. Domitian spent his youth wandering along with his mentor, growing bored of princely duties rather quickly. Instead, the young pup nourished his curiosity, trying his ever so best to quench his thirst of questions. 

His brother was Hadrian, heir to the throne of Diadumenus, was a noble soldier in the army as a way to prove himself worthy of the title of heir. He was blunt, serious, and unkind. And - once their father was dead - ruled his throne with an iron clad paw. It wasn't long into his rein Hadrian was crowned 'The Unkind King' (which was pretty on the nose) and it wasn't too long even that Hadrian became paranoid of conspiracies of others taking his thrown. Hadrian had multiple of his mates killed, his offspring were sent far away as pups, and Domitian was placed under the watchful eye of spies. 

Domitian - now adolescent and curious of his own self - became enthralled with a particular noble son of a member of his brother's court. A large male wolf by the name of Macrinus. Despite his brother's distaste for him, Domitian was part of his court and was to serve his rights as ordered by their mother. Which left Domitian in the same place as Macrinus. Domitian confided in the wolf about his fears and doubts about Hadrian. And although he believed Macrinus loved him, the other male had different plans. 

Using the knowledge gained from Domitian, Macrinus' father set an attack on Hadrian's chambers on the middle of the night. Hadrian was wounded badly and, in his rage, sentenced Macrinus and his father to death. And then looked at his younger brother with hatred unlike anything Domitian had ever seen before, "As a last gift to our late mother, I do not condemn you to the fate you deserve. But, from this moment forth, you are exiled from your homelands and my kingdom! May the gods give mercy and end your suffering quickly." 

Domitian wandered the world far from his homeland, until he stumbled upon a handsome young wanderer named Aleksei. Together they settled a place and now work diligently to create a safe place. A new kingdom ruled by Domitian. A new homeland.

After Aleksei's death, Domitian was faced with the fact that he had yet to set a heir up. That is, until he remembered that Evadne was like an adopted daughter to Aleksei. Domitian has set her as his heir to leading the pack.
