Born in the first summer of The Sanctuary Pack
Mother: Saturn

Personality: A class-clown type, Grayling loves nothing more than to play pranks on his sister and get into trouble. Despite his goofiness, Grayling is eager to please, and wants nothing more than to be liked and admired by his packmates.
Naming Conventions: Fish, first generation
Grayling's family passes down naming schemes matrilineally. His mother, Saturn, broke the tradition of her birth-pack as a symbol of her departure from that pack. That old naming scheme- to name pups after celestial bodies- has been replaced with a new: to name pups after fish. Saturn also tends to give her pups names that represent traits she wants the pups to have.
Grayling was named for a type of silver fish that ran in the lakes and rivers of Saturn's birth pack. Saturn hopes the grayling's hardiness and adaptability will pass on to her son; the runt of his litter.
