Astrid

Born into a litter of six of a large northern pack, Astrid was often overlooked and ignored. Her attempts at learning skills from the pack’s hunters were disregarded. Astrid knew her mother loved her and did so in return, but the inability to understand each other on a fundamental level created an unspoken rift. Astrid could not be happy with a breeder role like her mother and her mother took personal insult to this. 

Astrid left the pack when she was old enough to hunt small critters to feed herself, but young enough to make bold and wild choices. By the luck of the spirits that guided her through missteps and dead ends, she befriended other lone wolves and created a pack of her own.
