The most ancient living wolf of the Silver River Pack, Sandgrouse is a hardy old herbalist who has seen a lot throughout his lifetime. The journey from Lost River, the death of his adopted daughter Starling and the loss of Kingfisher, his mate of four years, have done a number on both his mental and physical health, but he is still a valued member of the pack who is beloved by each of his peers.
Sandgrouse's muzzle may be graying as he approached the end of his lifespan, but his apprentice Bluetit is ready to follow in his aging mentor's footsteps whenever his time comes.
