Dawnbringer was already a believer in the Old Magic before he crossed paths with Amaranth. That he bonded with the Packleader over their mutual reverence of nature and the spirits was only too natural, and that he'd take up ceremonial duties among their rites of wolfsong and dance came just as naturally yet.
He will not speak of his time before Scarborough, explaining only that he has faith in the hereafter, and that death is no longer something he fears.
He has become a source of guidance and council for young pups on their journey to adulthood. He has taken interest in Wild Animal Howling in particular, and attempts to offer the young wolf advice - whether he listens is another matter entirely.
