Goan was born to one of the Cult's most honored members, the powerful scout Cinderband. Although his mother died after his and his brother Koyola's weaning, he respects her immensely and does his best to be a devout follower and loyal packmate in her memory. 

Despite his fierce looks, he's deeply caring and loyal - if they hadn't desperately needed someone to take Cinderband's role, the King would have undoubtedly assigned him to be a pupsitter. He adores pups and makes sure to visit the ones he's sired.

Goan was named after a beautiful city on an ancient Empire of Man colony. Though the planet is believed to be lost forever, he hopes to be able to visit his namesake one day.
