Vulture 🌲

Vulture is mostly a bitter and angry wolf. He has been described as sadistic and malicious. But to those whom he is closest to, which is almost no one, he is passionate, gentle, and protective. 

Something about Vulture stood out when he was born. Maybe it was his looks or maybe it was his temperament. Whatever it was he caught his father's eye. He was the first pup of Skog's to do that. The former pack leader really could have cared less about his offspring before Vultures was born. Skog chose Vultures for whatever reason and raised him to become a great leader of the pack. Vultures thrived knowing it was his destiny to take over once his father died. But ofcourse nothing ever goes to plan. 

Vultures was obvious to the plot that Hyreindýr and Traitor had. In fact he truly like both females and considered Traitor to be a worthy ally whom he trusted. That was possibly the reason why he was so easily betrayed.

Many of Skog's offspring felt it was their right to the lead positio.  Vultures was so focused on  Embers and Thyra, who wa Akog's mated pair and wanted the position for her pup, that Vultures had even noticed Traitor  going behind his back. She had led Vultures to believe that most of the pack's females were supporting him when the time came. But when it did come she revealed they were really supporting her. 

Vultures is now a low ranking male. Everything he was raised to be was taken from him. The fact he is still a scout is shocking to everyone. But he is good at it and he is gone for long periods of time so maybe Traitor is using that to her advantage? All he knows is there is now a rift between him and Traitor. A betrayal he won't let go lightly.

Skog, the pack leader, doesn't seem to have interest in the pups of his pack, even if they are his own. But occasionally a pup comes around that is singled out and taken under the leader's wing. Ivar is that pup. Something about him stood out to Skog despite the fact his mother is basically a no one within the pack.
