Aspenleaf

As a pup, Aspenleaf was an imaginative little girl who could spend hours in her own little world. It wasn't uncommon for the adults to call her two or three times to dinner because she was just not paying attention. Her parents worried about her, but others said it was only a phase and she'd grow out of it.

As an adult, she has grown out of her lack of attention, just as her elders predicted. Her work as a finisher helps remind her to stay in the moment. Getting distracted even for a moment could mean disaster for the hunters, so she makes extra effort to be present. But after a long day of hunting, she still likes to visit her fantasy world and tell stories to her packmates that come from it.

Bearclaw and Aspenleaf's bond was a surprise to their packmates. No one expected them to end up together. When they were pups, they paid no attention to each other. Bear was a social butterfly, always hanging out with his packmates, while Aspen was a loner. But as Aspen came out of her shell and started sharing her rich fantasy life, Bear found himself fascinated by her. He started inviting her to spend time with him and his group of friends, to tell stories to entertain them. When she noticed his interest, she started making up stories just for him. Eventually, they were together all the time. His friends became her friends and she never had to be invited again.
