Oliver

Oliver is often considered the glue that keeps the pack together, at least food wise. Sarcastic to a fault, he ensures that the hunters maintain a good attitude and keep laughing, even through bad times. Oliver first joined the pack as an unskilled chaser and finisher. He first met Tarix while wandering through the pack's territory. At first, Tarix was unsure about the new arrival, ready to send him on his way. Oliver, however, quickly won the alpha's favor with his quick wit and sarcasm, convincing him he was a necessity to the pack. Oliver came from modest beginnings, born to a pair of runaway scouts. His parents never formed a solid pack, choosing to travel together with their son. Eventually, Oliver's longing for pack life and a proper job became too much and he decided to leave his parents for a different land. Although they were sad to see their son go, they both understood his need for community. Oliver gets along with most of the members of the pack, and his sarcasm is a welcome distraction from the hardships of wolf life. He has expressed interest in Jala, but she is obviously much more comfortable alone. Oliver maintains feelings for her, though, and is often mocked by the other members of his hunting party for it.
