Nattih is fierce. A mother and member of Black Eden first and mate to the leader second, she embodies the very ideals of the pack itself.
She’d left her previous pack on her own volition; while not evil in any of the sense, they were more focused on status amongst other packs than they were their own survival. After struggling through several winters, she’d decided that she wanted to leave. She’d spoken with her former leader and he’d granted her permission. In her travels out of the territory, she’d happened upon a hill just overlooking Black Eden territory and had gotten to view one of their hunting parties in action. Their energy was radiant, reaching her even from her distant vantage point. It had called to her, and she’d made her way down to ask them about their pack. But by the time she’d reached the area they’d been, they were gone. She’d elected to hang around for a few days in hopes they’d return, and that’s when Dehahuit found her. She’d explained her situation and her sensed calling from the party and he’d been instantly enamored. He’d invited her to the pack, offering her a stay while she decided what she’d wanted to do.
Upon arrival, she’d sought out the party she’d seen. And just as she’d felt, the others felt drawn to her. Bánushah, Háakayu, Nayáwsa, and Pinecone took to her well. Their energy matched and hunting trips were quickly just as much adventures as they were duties. They’ve become the most successful of the pack’s parties as a result, and no one is surprised.
And through this time, Dehahuit’s admiration turned to love. The pair bonded over shared meals and Nattih’s constructive criticism. She fell for the leader and vice versa. It wasn’t soon after that she found herself pregnant with the leader’s second litter. She’s borne a son - Flint - to N’awtsi’ (prior to either’s bonding) and loves him dearly. She’s excited to introduce this litter to the world, to their siblings, and to exciting experiences.
