The Founder's Son
Out of all the pups Io had, Mercury was the only one who survived. He was born in the dead of winter and although he had a strong spirit since birth, the pack feared for his safety. Mercury was spoiled as he was the Alpha's single pup, yet this seemed to never affect his personality.
He disliked the coddling he received as a pup and preferred to keep to himself. However, the one wolf he always cherished attention of was his mother. In his eyes, his mother was his idol and everything he wished to be: strong, proud, and a firm leader.Â
In his older years, he became the leader of his hunting party and had stories swirled around him about his immense speed and agility. No wolf in any pack around the Oasis could match him in a race or test of nimbleness. Mercury prided himself in earning this title and though he could never reach the height of his mother's achievements, he was content with his place in the Oasis.
