He came to Silverfell from a far land as a wanderer. He never stated his purpose but he met his mate Karvia there and settled down. He was searching for someone who has gone missing but after staying with his mate he realized he was getting too old to continue wandering. So he gave up. He had a home now and family who actually cared about him. He wasn't going to give that up to find someone who abandoned him. Instead he will take care of his mate to the best of his ability.
