Biography
Blowdens mother was a loving female wolf, but his dad wasn't around, so Blowden figured there was no dad. Little did he know, a light yellow wolf came spying on his pack every now and then. He didn't notice or maybe he didn't hear when the pack adults talked about spotting the male wolf in the area multiple times.
Blowden didn't feel well. His stomach hurt a lot, and there was no food to find, his mothers teats gave no milk anymore. He had no energy to do anything and slept all day. At least he felt comforted by his mothers warmth and her words.
One day he woke up to a nice smell, the smell of food! A rat carcass was placed on the ground in front of him, so he devoured it immedietly. He had a nap, and woke up a little more energized. His mom was next to him and another adult wolf handed him another rat carcass, which he quickly ate as well! His stomach felt full for the first time in a while. He had the energy to sit up and look around for his siblings, but they were nowhere to be found.
The next time he woke up, he wasn't at home anymore.
He slowly regained his energy, being allowed to eat more food each day, and he even had someone who kept an eye on him! Soon, he grew into an adolescent wolf and functioned as any other adolescent! He was so thankful, he knew now that this pack had saved his life by taking him in. But why?
One day he was sent to a different pack again.
A grey old female examined him.
"Do you have a name?"
"My mother called me Blowden," he said shyly. The grey female looked over to a big dark brown female that Blowden couldn't see, they seemed to exchange thoughts wordlessly and the herbalist looked back at him.
"Welcome to the Abies pack, Blowden. You seem to be all healthy and you're free to go into the territory. Someone's waiting for you there."
Blowden walked in the direction of the scent of a pack and soon came into an area riddled with wolves and caves and trees and lots of puppies. They all seemed happy and healthy, well fed little pups. Blowden smiled. Then he noticed a yellow male looking at him and moving his way.
"Welcome to the pack," his voice was deep and soft, "I know you've been through a lot, and you may be confused, so I will just tell you the truth. I'm your father."
-
Blowden liked his new pack, there were lots of wolves his age to play with and he was allowed to do anything he wanted! The pups all had strange sounding names that were hard to pronounce, but as it turned out that's what they thought about his name too. He did get weird looks when he introduced himself, but that only lasted for a few seconds and then they could go on with what they were doing!
Blowdens father took care of him now and even let him sleep next to him.
"I like to check in on all my pups, if I have the time," appearently Blowden had a lot of half siblings, "and when I saw the state you and your mother were in I had to do something. I appealed to my Alpha and she decided to save you with the help of another pack. They came just in time, one more day and you wouldn't have survived."
Blowden owed the alpha his life, he understood, so he went to thank her one day. At her throne, he bowed and waited to be spoken to. He heard a chuckle!
"What are you doing, silly pup?" The Alphas voice was powerful, but sounded relaxed.
"Thank you for saving my life, Alpha! I am in debt to you and I will do anything you ask!" Blowdens declaration of loyalty was adorably amusing to the alpha, who smiled at him. Blowden looked up and saw his Alphas face clearly for the first time. She had a fearsome scar across it, but looked at him tenderly. She stood up and went to sit by the ledge of the hill. Blowden followed.
"See that grey pup over there?" Over by a tree sat a lone grey pup with a striking white blaze, yes, he nodded at the alphas question and the alpha sat up straight and looked at him, "as a thanks for saving your life, follow the alphas request and go play with her."
Blowden thanked the alpha and hurried off. The alpha stayed and watched as the pups greeted eachother.
