Biography
Deep in the snowy mountains on a night that the moon was full. A shimmering sight was to behold, a female was trotting towards a hidden cave her fur was almost glowing in the moonlight. The cave opening had large branches covering it and keeping some of the chill out. The blue eye'd female sniffed the air to make sure nothing was inside the cave and when she was sure it was safe slowly crept inside.Ā She let out a soft sigh as she settled onto the floor, whining softly as she felt another contraction, she pawed at the floor while she waited for it to pass. As the sky started to lighten a soft noise could be heard coming from the cave a soft whimper from a newborn pup and panting from her mother.
The mothers ear flicked as she heard a noise coming from the opening of the cave, ice blue eyes sparkled at the female as a white head with black marks poked into the cave, the female let out a soft noise as her mate entered the cave as he came closer into the cave he softly spoke. "Hello love, how do you feel?" He softly nuzzled the female licking her nose.
The female laughed softly and spoke while looking down at the pup nestled into her side nursing. "I'm fine Granite sweetheart, welcome our darling little one." Granite smiled and lowered his head down to the pup taking her scent in and gently licked her back, afterwards he moved to lay next to his mate and pup. "I think we should choose a name for our daughter, what do you think Ava dear?" Granite said lovingly looking at the pup. Ava laid her head against her mates back, while musing out loud. "We could name her Grace, or perhaps Diamond because of herĀ fur she has."
Granite hummed softly in thought, staring at his first-born pup and a name came to mind, he looked at his mate, cocking his head to the side. "Those are lovely names dear, and perhaps the next pups we have will fit with them, but how about that one you dreamt about when we first met and before we became mates?" Granite nuzzled Ava's muzzle letting out a soft noise. Blue eyes stared outside the mouth of the cave watching some snow flutter in the wind. "Sayla shall be her name. It fits our little one to be named after something I dreamt about and helped me decide to mate with you love." Granite looks down at the pup once more smiling and happily says. "Sayla, our beautifulĀ pup, I can't wait to see what you grow into."Ā
Six moon cycles have passed since the young pup was born; her mother Ava couldn't be happier with how the young one was growing. As a small pup she was full of energy and was very bright, she loved to sit with the older wolves and listen to different stories that taught her valuable knowledge. As she aged into an adolescent, she learnt that not everything was as safe and joyful as she thought as her father Granite taught her strategies and other things she would need to know when she took over the pack. She was doing very well in stalking and was even allowed to join in practice hunts her mother set up for her, mostly chasing weasels and rats but she was blooming under her mother's care.
The young blue-eyed pup enjoyed playing with all manner of animals that weren't too scared of joining her. Her favorite playmate was a small brown and cream-colored bird that she would chase and dig holes with to unearth worms. One morning the snow-colored wolf made her way to the area her little friend would be once the sun rose. As she approached the area, she realized she didn't hear any of the other birds chirping or making any kind of noise, she stopped and flicked her ears listening, but she couldn't literally hear anything but her own heart. Her bristles standing up she slowly continued her journey listening and smelling the air and the soft grass covered ground. Out of nowhere as she's got her head down smelling the ground out of the corner of her eye, she sees something coming towards her. As the sun rises more into the sky a blur of brown and cream darts past the young, she wolf and startles her into a bush making a soft noise. The bush shakes slightly as a small bird joins the adolescent in the bush, chirping softly. We must be careful my friend, for there is a strange wolf in the area. He is large but lean with gray fur and dark brown eyes, I am unsure what he plans to do but be aware of your surroundings.Ā
The young wolf grumble softly at the bird as she slowly righted herself in the bush, shaking a few leaves out of her fur. You scared me my friend. I'm sure the scouts have already alerted everyone about the stranger but I'm going to head back to the den for the next few days just to be safe.
With the last leaf falling off the sparkling adolescents fur she slowly slinked her way out of the bush trying to stay hidden somewhat among the trees and grass, her ears flicking back and forth listening to anything as the bird chirped softly from the air flying above her keeping an eye out for anything dangerous.
As she made her way back to the den she caught an unusual scent, it was the stranger's scent, she let out a soft growl as she realized whoever they were had passed fairly close to the den that she slept inside. She gave up on being stealthy and quiet. She raced the last few feet to the den and burrowed under the soft pelts that her parents lined the floor with and let out a soft whimper as she waited for someone to return.
