Even though he lacks his fathers large size, his cool demeanor and compact yet muscular frame gives the impression that he isn't to be trifled with. He keeps his short fur unusually sleek and clean for one living in a place where dust creates a fine layer that manages to blanket every living and nonliving thing for miles around.
Even though none would admit it, Trek's father North was the one who kept the pack together. While highly intelligent and resourceful, Ryn's biggest fault as a leader was her lack of charisma. Trek fears his voice won't be heard, and while he's on the quiet side, surrounds himself with fiery speakers and bright minds. Despite his insecurities, his pack looks up to him more than he ever may realize. And that weight is crushing. As a young wolf, he hardly has grown into his own--much less an entire tribe.
Life under Trek as leader of the tribe isn't near as free as it was under his parents, but by no means is he a tyrant. Although he is prone to lashing out under pressure, Trek does his very best to be fair. Hell, it's usually his sister Anaba that his wolves need to keep an eye out for, not him.
Perhaps one of Trek's biggest faults is his bad judgment when it comes to relationships. While he has had many-a-fling, his sense of duty has led to a lack in being able to stop moving enough to nurture a true relationship. While it's no secret, Anaba is the only one willing to voice her concerns to him--and not very gently, mind you.
