Winterhide's relationship with his pack is a difficult one; Alpha Moonbreath considered chasing him during his adolescence but decided not to out of love for his late mother. He used to feel like an outsider within his own pack, with his closest friend being Emberbreath since they both share the same controversial coat. Now, he has more than proven his worth by becoming a part of the lead hunting party, and the new Alpha Moonsong more than appreciates his contributions.
