Hickorypaw came to the pack with his mother who didn't mesh well with the existing members... she stayed during the winter on the demand from Kiva the pack's herbalist saying a nursing mother shouldn't be out in the cold when food was so scarce. So she stayed till the first sign of spring and left telling her son that she was going out on a solitary hunt, she never came back for him. With the loss of his mother being around Hickorypaw started making rash and impulsive decisions most of them often landing him in trouble. Razzspur looks out for him and manages to get him out of trouble with King Redzenious and his son Ghostrattle.

As he grew Hickorypaw picked up a habit of stealing; his favorite thing to do was steal prey from the other pack members, running off with their meal in his jaws and them howling in anger after him. So it was only fitting that his warrior name become Hickorysnatch for his thievery. He's a happy boy and looking forward to being on a hunting team and getting a mate and even having kids! Though his eyes do have a habit of wondering a lot... One of his more favorite pastimes is to train the apprentices and howl at pretty girls.

Gaining experience and wisdom he knew where best to throw his ties in and that was with King Ghostrattle and his second in command and breeding male Hawkthron. He inserted himself into their fold becoming one of the guys so as to never be left again, he now has a lot of abandonment issues since his mother leaving him. And this was also the best way to get the first pick of the females! Hickorysnatch soon became the first guard leader for the pack trying to make his way to getting his singular warrior name.

With his shifty fox eyes, most others from other packs find it hard to trust him while it intrigues the ladies. He usually gets into trouble with males outside the pack because of this, until he gains more strength he is currently running back to his King and friend to protect him. But since he's inbred he will probably never breed for pups within the pack... he's still hoping that Ghostrattle will grant him a mate even if it's just for companionship.
