Araswen Routatassu

Araswen Routatassu was confident hunter who was also willing to take the risk even if the odds were against her. She was the second matriarch of her family.

Araswen was her mother, Routatassu's youngest pup and only daughter. Routatassu hoped that her daughter would follow her lead and become herbalist, but Araswen was not interested to do so. Instead she became hunter who was specialised finisher. Her mother did eventually accept Araswen's chosen path and teached her to be the next martriach. Which Araswen became at the age of 3 years and 11 months when her mother passed away.

Unlike two other second generation matriarch, Araswen was well prepared for her role. Routatssu shared her knowlegde about Mountains and now Araswen is the one who has most knowlegde about that area. But her mother's death lead to another problem. Pack's first herbalist died and as pack leader had decided years ago, next herbalist should come from Routatassu family. But who would it be? Araswen herself would not became herbalist neither her brother Arastor who was happy as pupsitter. New matriarch's own daughter Arassel refused as well, she had become very good hunter already. But Araswen's grandson Arassegas Routatassu told his grand-mother that he would love to be the next herbalist. Only problem was, that he was only 7 month old when his great-grand-mother passed away. So Araswen had to make a decision: should she force her own daughter of brother to take previous herbalist role right away or take a high risk and waith months for Arassegas's maturation? That could be fatal choice because without herbalist pack is far more vunerable to diseases and accidents. She choose second option and wait for her grandson's maturation. Pack leader Jäälaulu did not question her decision and fortunately Araswen's risky decision was worth of it. Nothing bad did happen and eventually Arassegas became very professional herbalist. In her late years Araswen prepared her own daughter Arassel to take her role as matriarch. Araswen, the second matriarch of family Routatassu died at the age of 7 years and 7 months. She was burried to the mountains, near to her mother Routatassu.
