Nightshade

The last born of Briggan and Dustfall. She was the smallest and nobody was sure she would survive. Against everything, she was the smartest and the only one to stay in Silverfell. Her three brothers left to join other packs and were never heard from again. 

     When she was a pup, she always stayed close to her pupsitter hoping to learn from the first queen, named Mystriel, about how to run a pack. 

When she was an adolescent, her father Briggan, died in a hunting accident and her mother who was the first Herbalist died of grief a day later. Leaving Mystriel and Ashcore to act as her parental figures. As the first four members of the pack, Ashcore, Mystriel, Briggan, and Dustfall all had a deep bond with eachother.

Now as an adult, she takes after her father and is currently the best chaser in the pack. Although she is lonely, she is of five years old and yet to find a mate. No pups to carry the legacy her parents set. 

Yet again tragedy struck, her adoptive mother, Mystriel has passed. She listened to the howling of the Voidcaller and the next queen. But rather than howl herself she gathered some flowers and made a offering to the earth. It was long past time she learned to do things independently although she will miss her adoptive mother greatly.

When Ashcore left, just before he stopped and asked Nightshade to look over his pups. She promised she will help Agethern to the best of her abilities as an advisor. She promised to do her best to keep the pack out of famine as a hunter and put others above herself. Ashcore shook his head and told her she is already doing her best and not to overwork herself because she is already doing enough. 

"Stay strong and make sure to take a break sometimes. You are a hard worker much like your parents. They are proud of you I'm sure. Goodbye now, may we meet again among the stars."

He left her and vanished in the trees. Even the best tracker couldn't make out his scent. It was as if he was a spirit all along.

Nightshade now has two pups, Sunshade and Nightshine. She loves them and will do anything to protect them. With her motherly love and their ambition, they are sure to go far. She works hard to train them to carry her legacy and her parents legacy. As one of the inner circle and the first pup born into Silverfell, as well as the best hunter, she is held in high respect.

Her passing was sudden, unexpected. She was so full of strength and life but she just didn't wake up.
