Ashin wasn't very strong. She had very few pups to speak of, but was a valuable asset to the pack, nonetheless. She was the den mother, before Mut, she was like a mom to everyone in the pack. Then, a grandmother. Even the incarnations, treated her as such. She was Khashab's (Timber's) beloved, and it grieved him deeply to lose her.
