Background info: Yuma is the first ever Beta and stud male of the Wolves of and Ember sky. He was the first wolf to join Alaska and her plan to build a pack. He later on decided to ask her to be his mate even though he was a stud, she said yes to his proposal. He actually felt a bit guilty... being a stud and having her as a mate. Yuma could tell that Alaska was a little jealous. So he decided to be more of a hunter than a breeder. Even though he chose this, Boulder was not able to pull away as his duty as a Stud, he wasnt allowed to in Wolf social structure, when you chose your job, you couldn't change it. Yuma supposed he would only stud if he was being paid and wait till another wolf came of age and he handed his job to them. He wanted to be happy with Alaska and he knew this was how.
One day he noticed something weird going on with his mate. Her eyes were starting to glow blue. Yuma urged Alaska to go to the herbalist and she did. He didnt know of his mate's travels to the spirit realm before now. Angel, the Herbalist told them both that there was no cure for this and it wasnt harming Alaska's health. The glowing kind of scared Yuma and still creeps him out quite a bit but he has gotten more and more used to it. Know that he also knew were Alaska was going he wasnt to happy about it. It upset Yuma that she enjoyed the Spirit realm so much... but there was nothing he could do about it.
The spirit realm had become all to familiar when one day he noticed that his pelt changed to a blueish color. Another wolf even told him that his green eyes changed to a blue color without pupils! Marigold, the new Herbalist- taught by Angel, told him that these changes did not harm his health in any way. So he supposed he wouldn't worry about his new appearance.
