"Mom!" her little voice felt like it couldn't carry far enough, "Mommy!!"

It was too late, she was taken out to the woods, left by a tree and told to stay there.

After a while someone came to get her. The little pup was whimpering and the adult wolf hurried up to her.

"Hey, hey shh, it's okay, don't cry," the wolf tried to comfort her in a strange accent but she shyed away.

"Who are you?" she sniveled.

"I'm here to take you to my pack.. your mothers old pack," he paused for a bit, unsure, but then continued, "I'm your brother."

The little pup was brought to the Abies pack and Vinbär raised her alongside his own pups. She looked almost identical to one of their sons. These pups called their parents mamma and pappa, and so she started doing it too, her little puppy brain quickly forgetting all about what Vinbär had said that night in the forest. Her brother became her father, and no one would question it, because she looked just like his mate as well.

The pup grew up, now named Lina by Vinbär and Johanna, her parents, or so she thought.
