The first male to be found and brought into the Bloodwater pack since King Redzenious died. He was found in the mountains by Ghostrattle as he did his territory patrol, Thistlequill was hunting on Ghostrattle's land and instead of being chased off be was offered the choice of death or joining his pack. That was a no-brainer... There was no way he could outrun or outfight the King of these lands so he conformed to his rules and joined his ranks.
It was great timing that Thistlequill joined the pack when he did for horrible disasters started to strike all over the lands causing pure chaos everywhere. Many perished from lack of food or exposure to the elements only a small few were still alive after what is now called the thinning. With the great tragedies that hit the land and the quarreling that happened within a small cave filled with many wolves, they decided that it was best if they all separated into new territories. Thistlequill doesn't mind the warm muggy weather of the swamp and marshes but he still stays loyal to Ghostrattle whenever he can get away with it. You could say he would be willing to be an inside spy for him...
When he entered into Hiddenstorm's pack they wandered in the mists for weeks almost drowning in the swamp waters when the land would suddenly drop out and they were unable to see with the stagnant water hiding what hid in the depths. Eaten by alligators, poisoned and strangled by snakes... Then like an ancient wolf coming from the mists with moss on her fur he met Mashsnow, he chased her from the pack many times before he listened to what she had to say. Thinking it over he brought her to his leader and suggested that they listen to her advice since they weren't really getting anywhere. As time went on a friendship formed between them to the point that they agreed to be pair-bonded with one another.
