Chroma was born in the midst of Winter, at the very crack of dawn. With the morning light filtering through the entrance of the nursery den onto the special puppy, it was truly a specter for the Clan to behold. Some theorized that he was a reincarnation of a great being that had come to grant them with good luck, while others bitterly reckoned that Chroma’s strange pinkish white fur and red eyes were a sign of bad fortune and negative spirits.
Chroma grew up a mostly normal life, however he was rather ostracized from his littermates, for they feared the power that he held in his mutation. Determined to prove himself, the young adolescent quickly climbed the social ladder within the Clan; and eventually, Cosmonium, the pack's first King, recognized Chroma for his pure potential. The young albinistic wolf possessed a quiet, kind and sensitive demeanor, and his scatterbrained and ditzy personality was rather charming. Eventually, his packmates accepted him upon realizing how much potential he held. Chroma enthusiastically took the role of the Clan’s very first stud.
Although Permafrost was Chroma’s birth mother, retired Queen Bluemist often played the role of his maternal figure. She taught him many things; compassion, patience, gratefulness and leadership. Growing under the great Queen’s influence, Chroma had become a very diligent and respected member of The Clan of Coming Storm.
Chroma is very close to his best friend, Starling, and his younger adopted half-sister, Akino. The three of them are often found lounging in the Clan’s clearing or causing trouble somewhere in the distance…
