Biography
"you need to let me go Rosvell.. this will only make it harder on both of us, and you know that."
Spirit sat across from his leader, who was a sobbing mess- a pitiful side of himself he hates letting other wolves see. but not to him. "please understand, Rosvell. you know better than anyone that you cannot stop the sands of time-" "I don't want to hear it." a familiar sternness in his voice but this time look didn't match. once stood a large and in charge Alpha now sat across, shaking and sobbing- many would have assumed he was just a sensitive weakling at first glance.
"Ill figure this out- I know how- I just need some time to get it-" he spoke like a broken record cutting his sentence with hiccups and sniffles. "Rosey." an old nickname, from the day they first met. Young and full of life- for a second Spirit had saw that same youngness when he called for his attention. only for a second. once bright and full of life those two same eyes dulled with age and depression.
"I won't take the immortality you are offering me. I want to seem them all again. Apollo, Alina, Eagle, Dragonfly..." a heavy weight held in the air for a moment. "Snowfall. I've been ready for this day to come, and im okay with it."
"you mean the world to me, Oliver." another old nickname from a harder past. Rosvell had first found Spirit tied to an old oak tree- punished by his masters for being a twisted half-breed and to much to handle. "I'm so afraid of losing you. and Highbeam.. you all are all that's left from the first year. I struggle to let it go."
Spirit walked forward and rested his chin on his leaders head- Rosvell had eagerly embraced the much needed affection. "If I got granted the immortality, what do you think you've happened? it would have only been a matter of time before you had passed as well. your temporary burden of loss would have plagued me for centuries- there would be no heaven to meet again in."
there was a passing moment of silence- mixed emotions fired in Rosvells body as quickly as they had left him. Seven years of friendship - his first Companion and near lover, were coming to an end.
"Im sorry."
