Because of Misneach and Shadow Weaver's fixation on pups with odd coloured eyes, Voidtouched was closely watched for signs that he could be the wolf mentioned in the Prophecy. However, they dismissed him as a candidate when he was just a few months old and turned their attention to other youngsters.

Voidtouched began to experience strange dreams and hear the voices of other lera, such as birds and beavers, shortly after his mother died. His closest friend and soon-to-be bonded partner, Spilled Ink, cautioned him not to speak of it, and to avoid attracting attention. "The prophecy is just a silly story," she assured him, as they snuggled close in the shade of their favourite tree, "And you are more than a tool to be used by others. You don't owe them anything." 

Only after Misneach and Shadow Weaver both died of old age, taking their obsession with them to the grave, did Voidtouched reconsider his silence. He tentatively approached Mishka and confessed his abilities; she in turn confided her struggles with her own Dreamwalker abilities, and they reached an understanding.

Voidtouched now serves as a support figure and confidante to the joint pack leaders, utilising the powers of The Sight to assist them and help protect the pack. He has declined a promotion multiple times, content to continue in his role with his hunting party - but after Machiavellian retired, Voidtouched was chosen by popular vote to serve as the new Pack Liason.
