Darcel 📜

Darcel is of the Dreamlands. His world is dark, yet painted with the glowing essence that allows his world to thrive. The moon's pulsating light and waxing darkness blesses his world, and is strong enough to filter into this world when this moon is at its peak. After discovering his mate was not of his own world, after consulting a wise old fox, he set off for this world when this moon was at its strongest. 

Here, cloaked in the protection of the Timoria, he found Asra. The essence of both wolves called to one another and Cinder, this pack's founder, sanctioned their bonding. When it was discovered that Itsuki was leaving her role as pack herbalist and witch, Darcel volunteered his assistance in filling the role and has since taken up the mantel. 

This pack is unique in this world. A smaller, pack subset of a larger organization: the Timoria. Cinder founded this pack on the pledge to protect all who venture through her forest seeking protection. Their biggest enemy? The Klouvi. Therefore, the mantel which Darcel now carries is not one which involves merely healing. He must hide his pack members as well. Itsuki's magic was tied to the owl talons that each member wore if they needed to be given the ability to take the form of a wolf. Darcel has the magic to grant this ability without the use of a charm. His wolf form was one that was not trusted at first. A wolf form like that in Itsuki's time meant he was hiding something in the same way pack assassin Kokkino's blood red coat signified her kills. However, Asra was instrumental in the pack's trust of Darcel. 

Darcel returns frequently to his home, gathering essence to store in his quarters so that he may draw strength and magic from them. After the passing of Cinder, he gifted her daughter and predecessor a lunar tear pendent so that she may enter the Dreamlands whenever the moon is strongest.
