Ashtoreth

The eldest of Isis’s, and Athena’s first grandchild. 

Even though she had so much to brag about, she never did. She never felt the need to, her lineage didn’t define her. She always made sure to be the cool, calm and collected wolf that her mother was, and made sure to never use the “do you know who I am” excuse for stuff. Pretty much all the wolves in the pack had some familial connection to Ra. 

Sure, her little sister having pups before her hurt, and that those pups had pups before her, but whatever. She was a famed hunter, and she had a pair bond. Her little sister couldn’t say that, ‘cause she’d broken hers when she came back to the pack. 

Ash figured she needed to find someone, and went looking. She didn’t need to look far, though, and her attention turned to Boreas. It didn’t take long for her to charm him into a pair bond. 

She loved Boreas. Together they were the hunting duo, working together, Ash chasing and Boreas taking down the prey. And one day, they’d give Athena more grandchildren, something Ash knew Athena always wanted. And these ones would be well behaved, nothing like Nikephoros’s litter. Nothing could get in between her and her plans!

Boreas broke it off with her. 

He said that he was sorry, he knew when he said yes to her it had meant a lifetime commitment, but he hadn’t realised how long a lifetime with her would have been. Also, he met someone he really wanted to be with forever. 

Ashtoreth broke. She screamed at him, how dare he break up with her, they were meant to be forever, and did he know who she was???

He didn’t look back. 

He didn’t change hunting parties, much to Ashtoreth’s surprise. Well, they did barely interact with each other while they were hunting. Ashtoreth figured it was that, and wanting to save face among the other hunters. 

It’s okay. She could deal with that.

She figured taking a break from the pair bond game was required, but she would not end her search forever. She needed to provide Athena more grandchildren.
