Biography
The whole pack loved their alpha, Tyr, and here was her youngest daughter, the absolute image of her. When she and her three littermates, all females, were presented to the pack, there was a lot of commotion about this little copy of the alpha. And thus came her very first memory, and the very first time anyone had ever seen the alpha angry. Yes, the pups first memory was her mothers fierce snarl as she stood in front of the litter, separating them from everyone else. The crowd backed off and Tyr stood tall, the whole pack raised their ears, ready to listen to the alphas words. Her voice was strong.
"I have brought these pups into the world for you, it has been my largest litter and I am quite certain this will be my last litter. But listen to me," the alpha paced a bit and looked over her pack with a piercing gaze, "I know there is one pup that stands out. But you will make sure to treat all of my pups equally."
That was the end of the sentence, but everyone in the crowd felt an unspoken threat.

"I don't wanna be a scout!!" Vår cried out, "Gerd is so good at it, let her be a scout!"
Tyr sighed and smiled at her youngest daughter. So stubborn, just like her mother.
"You'll be a great scout. Don't you want to see the world? Besides, Gerd needs to learn how to work in a group, that's why she needs to be in the hunting team."
Vår did not like this. Just because she grew up her whole life needed to change. She didn't want to! She wanted to stay in her home! When she was introduced to the other scout, however, her interest peaked just a tiny bit. She had seen him around the territory before, but he was older than her. Oh yeah, Vår and Gerd were the same age as his daughter! That didn't make him any less handsome though. Vår did not know how to flirt, so she didn't attempt to. All she did was listen to him and learn! It didn't hurt to have a good looking teacher, now did it?

As Vår sat in front of the rock wall, she remembered the instance when she was little and her mother, Tyr, had hired a painter wolf to paint a mural of Tyr and her eldest pups. Vår had sneaked into the area and his behind a tree to watch the process. After Tyr had found her out, she had gotten Vår a space where she could practice her painting, and made the herbalist get paints that would wash away easily. The mural that the painter had made was the only place where Vår could now see her mother, and Vår realized the importance of art. She decided to make a mural, too.

"My little sister is pregnant?" Gerd burst into the cave, "how did I not know?!"
"Yeah.." Vår hesitated, scared that her sister would get mad, but she braced herself "I didn't tell anyone, you know, cause I knew of your problems.."
"You should never think like that," Gerd came closer to hug her sister, "my problems won't affect my love for my sisters pups. But who is the father??"
Vår hadn't bred with the packs breeding male, coincidentally her own scout teacher, who had taken over after the old one, her mothers mate, had died. She did find him very handsome, but they stayed friends. It would be weird carrying her friends siblings anyway.. But one day when she was working on her murals she had seen someone watching her paint. A dark male was just lying there in the shade of a tree, not caring about her noticing him watching her. She thought he was rude at first, and he kept coming there to watch her paint until one day, she decided to talk to him. Well, not really her decision..
"I don't know about this, the colour looks wrong," she had muttered to herself, and after trying to alter it and failing she let out a loud "ugh!"
"What's wrong with it?" He startled her and she jumped up on her feet, and when she saw it was him she didn't exactly become relaxed, "It's supposed to be the old Beta, Skade, right?"
"Yes.." Vår hesitated, "her coat is a warmer grey than this."
The male observed the painting for a bit, and then before leaving, he said "I'm sure you'll figure it out."
Despite his heavy accent, Vår was intruiged.
-
"Mamma?"
"It's me, how are you?" Vår came to visit her older sister, Skade, who hadn't been feeling too well.
"Vår?" Skade looked confused, "where's mamma?"
"She's-" Vår hesitated, "she's not here, Skade. It's just me."
"I could swear I saw mamma," Skade said as she settled down again and rested against Vår. Vår felt bad for confusing Skade with her resemblence, and she didn't want to remind Skade that their mother had been dead for many years now. Skade was old and her memory had failed her. Still, it pained Vår to see her older sister, who she had always looked up to so much, in this state. She felt Skades twitching in her sleep like a puppy. Was she chasing bunnies maybe? Vår just hoped she wouldn't chase them too far.
-
Once again, the alpha was in a horrid state of grief. She had been holding it up quite well after Skade died but when Ull died not long after, she fell apart. Vår became worried about the packs safety, but when she heard someone talking ill about the alpha she snapped and told them off. Maybe she was walking in Skades footsteps after all? But if Vår is Skade, that means Gerd is Ull.. Vår had seen Gerd as her wise older sister all this time, and acted as though that was Skades position, but now she realized she had it all backwards. Gerd was a softie just like Ull! Oh man, it was time for Vår to step up her game as the second in charge of the pack.
Tyr was the last person who would ever be sad about death, and she clearly hadn't tried hard enough to teach her pups and adoptive pups that, and because she was such a great leader and mother and friend, they had all mourned her, and Vår especially. But now, Vår was old. Somehow loss had never plagued her since Tyr died, probably because the only tight bond she had was with her sister and alpha, Gerd. She did love her other siblings, but when it came down to it she could live without them. Of course she was sad when they went, but not like Gerd. When finally Vårs mate died, she was indeed sad but she kept it inside. She had 4 puppies to care for, she couldn't let them suffer because of this. Vårs older daughter, Aud, seemingly became crankier than usual after her fathers death. Vår kept the family together, but her remaining heats came and went without producing pups. Vår had a big family with her mate, and that was enough for her.
-
Vår started working on her last ever painting, that's what she called it, and she refused to tell anyone what it was going to be. She was painting it at a huge rock wall right at the beginning of the territory. She shooed away anyone who lingered while walkinh past, but.. there was one that seemed to walk past suspiciously often. She shooed him away too, but she became curious of his intentions. One day she was visiting Gerd, his mother, and she decided to take a peek in his room.
"Vår, what are you doing?" Gerd sighed, and Vår wondered if she really snooped around so much that that sigh was warranted. She walked out of his cave and looked at Gerd.
"Is Bissing interested in painting?"
