The leader of Pike Mountain Pack must always be a female blessed with howlite fur and descended from the founder, Samhain. Imbolc is Samhain's youngest daughter, destined to take her place as the firm but kind leader of the pack.
Imbolc chose as her mate a beautiful outsider, Snake Scarab, whom the pack opened with the same open heart as Imbolc.
When Imbolc took power, Grey Hawk was serving as the packs stud. Grey Hawk was a brother of sorts to Imbolc. Grey Hawk was the son of Lunar Fall, Pike Mountain Pack's first Beta and Samhain's lover.
As Grey Hawk grew older, Imbolc searched for a new stud unrelated to the strong bloodlines started by Grey Hawk and Gilded Eyes. She certainly didn't expect to find the young, charming sapphic Black Hills Echo. Unlike Imbolc, Echo had a power and magic about her that not only allowed her to sweep any wolf of their paws, but also serve as a biological parent.
