Khione ❄️

Khione is a older member of The Crimson Scourge renowned for her hunting skills. She first fell for her current mate, Nyx, when she bested her in a race to catch pheasant, then again when they downed an elk together.

When she gave birth to her first litter of pups (fathered by Orpheus) a small pup with a pale, beautifully decorated coat was produced. As tradition stated, only the pups mother and pupsitter (Who was solely Storm at the time) were allowed to see them before they weaned, but the rule was broken when Ashes, who had also recently birthed a litter of her own appeared before them.

Ashe's had been displeased with the products of her litters birth, none of them sharing her monochrome complexion or Orpheus's beauty. The factor of having only retained one decently skilled son from her previous litter fueled her abhorrent nature towards her pups. To point of her chasing them away before they even weaned.

So, Ashes stood before them and examined the pup closely before making an offer; she promised Khione that she and Nyx would have an unchallenged place in The Crimson Scourge, in exchange for taking the pup back to her den and claiming him as her own. Khione contemplated this as Storm rose to question his place in the bargain. Ashe's would offer him the place as her set mate, giving him the rites that of a king, being if he were to stay quiet about the ordeal.

Khione accepted the offer, pressed by Storm who believed that the pup would rise farther than Khione could take him if he were to be raised by the pack's leader.

Now she fears that her willingness to give him up has put him in too high of rank for his own good. His arrogance could be the future of the pack.
