Out of one of Sandy and Tamaski's largest litters, Dulca was the only one in her litter to stay once they were old enough to live on their own. She did not want to leave her parents alone to deal with their next litter, even though her siblings wanted to find their own mates and start their own packs.
When a dispersal wolf was found in the area however, when she went to force him out of their territory she instead became enamored by his cocky attitude and fun-loving personality. Dulca soon became conflicted between supporting her parents and going off on her own, but her parents urged her to go out and start her own life, as they were skilled enough to keep their pups safe. Dulca needed no further prompting and quickly set off to start her own pack, albeit somewhere close so she could still hear how her natal pack was doing.
