Serapis

He and his siblings were conceived during one of his mother’s many trips to other lands, regularly taken to avoid responsibilities from her mother, Athena, the pack leader. 

Throughout his childhood, his grandmother would tell him and his siblings stories of the beginning of the pack, and the friends she had made that had since passed on, including her old mate, Ra. His aunts, Isis and Nephthys, would tell the stories from their perspectives as the first pups born into the pack, as well as stories from their hunts, and stories about their mother when she was a pup.

Serapis and his siblings would always be a bit rowdy, especially with the other older pack pups. Athena did her best to control them, as their mother was usually sleeping or wandering the forest, but she was very old, and also trying to get the pack ready for her death, and preparing her grandson to lead. There was only so much she could handle, and often passes responsibility onto one of her oldest children, or Zeus. 

While he inherited his grandmother’s wisdom, he also inherited her headstrong nature, picking fights with many of the other animals he encounters on his adventures. Athena had tried to talk this nature out of him, but was secretly relieved that he had received that, and not his mother’s laziness. 

At Athena’s death, Serapis was named as the pack’s second leader. Since he gained this role, he has been sure to lead his pack with the same wisdom as his grandmother. 

He values the family he has, and mourns each time one of his family members dies. He and his siblings make sure to always do right by their pack mates. They often have issues with some of the older pack members, often having to get Zeus to stand in so the young Leader will be listened to.

He would collect friends from his travels in the form of butterflies.
