Biography
The rain poured outside, pounding down onto everything in its way. Honey had her paws wrapped around her two newborns in the den. Her mate was out there somewhere with her friend, hunting for the three. Hailing from the Taiga, Honey hadn't seen rain of such a ferocity, it usually froze and turned into snow before it got to them. She glanced down at the two squirming piles of fur around her belly. She knew these would help contribute to the future of her pack, her first born puppies. She glanced up to the mouth of the den again, the rain falling in sheets now. She was ready for what the world would throw at her pack, because she knew, the Fallen Valley pack could handle it.

Honeys paws were draped over the side of the rock. She overlooked the vast forest ahead of here, where she had just moved in after being in the mountains for ever so long. She thought the pack was doing well. Two of their hunters, Raven and Hellebore, were expecting puppies in a couple of sunrises. The three pups, Spruce, Conifer, and Rudeneja, has reached six months of age and were starting their training. Honey could see great potential in the orange streaked male, Conifer, and wouldn't be surprised if her would take the place as the lead male once Honey's mate passed away. Rudeneja also showed much promise as a herbalist, and Honey knew she would surprise all of them. Spruce would be a great hunter, Honey was sure of that, but she didn't expect too much from the pup. She was also hoping that Raven and Hellebore would recover from their bout of pregnancy soon, but she could tell that that wasn't going to happen now. I'll just scout the rest of the land myself, no harm in doing some extra exploring around the new territory. She wondered.
Honeys ears swiveled as she heard claws scraping the rock behind her, padding closer. She turned and saw her friend, Hellebore walking to her side. She gave Honey a warm lick on her ear in greeting.
"Hello there," her smooth voice spoke, as she lied down next to Honey.
"Hey. How are things going?" Honey asked, glancing at her friends swollen belly.
"A bit uncomfortable, but I think I'm excited," Hellebore replied, a bit unconvincingly.
"You think?" Honey laughed, but soon stopped when she saw her friends worried face.
"What's wrong? I'm sure you'll be a great mother, I wouldn't expect anything less from you." Honey tried to comfort her.
Hellebore sighed and looked across the pine trees towards the swiftly setting dusk. "Well, what if I'm not? I mean, how can I handle my duties to the pack and also be a good mother at the same time? How did you do it?"
Honey took her eyes away from her friends worried face and followed her gaze towards the disappearing sun.
"Well, I had you and Sparrow with me, then Pine came along, and soon Owl and Raven, then I knew I would be protected in all sides. We will do that for you too Hellebore, I promise. And your duties?" Honey paused to nuzzle her friends belly. "This is your duty; to provide and help the pack. To let your lines go running through these woods and carry on. You are doing your share to the pack, and we thank you for it." Honey smiled reassuringly.
Hellebore grinned. She then rubbed her face against Honeys head, her tail wagging.
"What would I do without you Honey?"
"What would I do without you either Hellebore," Honey replied, and turned to face the sun, now hidden and relinquishing it's place in the sky to the moon.
