Otter

A friendly, scatterbrained fellow adopted into the pack as a pup. He served on the hunt for many years, running as swift as the river on the chase.

He was the lifelong mate of fellow hunter Kestrel. Despite their great love and many attempts, they were never able to have offspring who lived past puppyhood. In their later years, they adopted the foundling Sunflower, who became a ray of light to their lives.

Eventually he retired from the hunt to become a mentor to the next generation. After his beloved Kestrel died, he followed her after only a few months.
