Adonis, Alpha of the Eastern Valley wolves was born without the security of a family pack and was raised in the harsh wilds of the Prairie by his mother, Raven.

Raven was a gentle soul, with a knack for survival that would put a bear on its backside and showed Adonis the most effective means for his own survival in the short few years that they shared. She would show him the way of the hunt, the power of his mercy and the brilliance of his own mind.

Though they had no pack, Raven taught Adonis the lifestyle of a traditional wolf pack. She showed him the cruelty of nature and freedom in death, the kindness in empathy and harshness of reality, and it was with this knowledge that she bestowed upon him that he would harness to its full potential in his quest for a family pack of his own.

It wasn't until Raven drew her last breath that Adonis did leave her. He was past the age of dispersal and grown in his right, though felt he owed his existence to her and so stayed until he could stay no more.

The year that followed the passing of his beloved mother, Adonis faced true fear, loneliness and desperation. It was with these new experiences that he grew stronger, for he had no one but himself to see it through. And so he did.
