First Night Mother of the Dark Brotherhood

The Night Mother and her loyal Beta, Corvus, are the founders of the Dark Brotherhood. The Night Mother, since claiming her place as Alpha, has also claimed herself a place beside the Dread Father Sithis in the Void as a Patron God, of sorts, to the Brotherhood.
The Night Mother's blood runs strong through her descendants, as it is the purest royal blood a wolf within the Brotherhood can have.
Although her descendants are not guaranteed the throne, they are all born with the ability to walk side-by-side with the Void as Seers and Shamans. It is up to them if they choose to use it for the good of the Brotherhood, or to forge their own path in the occult.

The Night Mother is a fair but strict ruler over the Brotherhood. Her bloodthirsty nature has decreased over the years, as she retreats to spend more time pondering the endless knowledge that she was gifted by Sithis all those years ago. Her beta, Corvus, acts as a commander in her place when she is too focused in her thoughts. But Corvus, too, is growing weary of The Hunt.
Despite this, she is still known as the most malicious, the most cruel among the Dark Brotherhood. Her reign has been long and stained red with countless lives, and she has established the foundations of a new era of her Brotherhood. On the day of her passing, when she speaks into existence the name of her heir, she will finally be at peace knowing that her time has been well spent.

On October 17th, 2021, the Night Mother passed away peacefully in her sleep. Her body was carried to the sacred tomb beneath the Dawnstar Sanctuary, where it will remain for eternity. However, her soul is now with Sithis in the Void.
They greet each other like old friends. She has done well, and now it is time to rest.
