Joined the pack during autumn of year nine.
Anxious, superstitious, and quite odd, Salem joined the pack after he was found by Trek during one of his many trips of marking the territory. "Oh, you're here," had been the first thing Salem said to the leader. It seemed to both startle and intrigue Trek, who immediately offered to walk the seemingly lost wolf home. When Salem stated that he had no home, Trek invited him to Redrocks. And he remained there ever since.
General opinion of Salem is quite mixed, although most simply shake their heads at his odd behaviors. From spinning around three times before he lays down, to muttering something under his breath whenever he ate from a carcass, it's for the most part endearing and benign. Salem will simply shrug off questions as "it's how it's always been" and "the way of his former pack."
Truth be told, he's prone to weird dreams.
