Pluto

Pluto left his pack quite young, electing to roam as an eligible bachelor for some time. However, after only a few weeks of the single life, he stumbled into Andromyda. She had just given birth to two pups - children of the only male in the pack, Jupiter - and instantly, Pluto fell in love. Not with the squirmy, slimy, frankly ugly puppies...but their mother.

He resolved instantly to do anything he could to win Andromyda's favor. When she offered him a place in her pack, he accepted instantly. She suggested, due to his obvious speed and skill, he should join her hunting party. Again, Pluto accepted.

After only a few days, Andromyda offered for Pluto to become the pack's lead male. Pluto was anxious at first - what would Jupiter think? - but Andromyda made it clear that he was not only uninterested in the role, but that as lead male, Pluto would be father to all pups in the pack until he died.

"It is a great honor," Andromyda told him.

And how could he refuse? Once she was in heat again, he would father her pups as well. It was clear from the look in her eyes that Andromyda was not only asking because of his youth and health, but because she had fallen for him as well.

Without further hesitation, Pluto assumed the role of lead male. He still retained his place as a chaser in the hunting party - after all, his speed was unmatched - and is even prouder of his position to make the pack strong.
