Cloudsong

Strong and proud. Prone to wander.

She dispersed from a land overrun by humans, seeking to create a haven free from the threat they pose by land and sky. She swore that the pack she'd build would be vigilant, watching for any encroachment of those two-legged predators in her newfound unspoiled wilderness--and drive them off if they dare trespass. With this mission in mind, she arrived in the Deciduous Forest where she met Preyfar, and together, guided by the enigmatic Tala, they established the first den site of the Eyes of the Forest.

Cloudsong was rather independent, frequently patrolling, fighting off the dangers she came across before they could harm her pack, and sometimes bringing back food or other items with her. Then, just as quickly, she was gone again. During those times she spent with the pack, she maintained hierarchy and acted as a stoic mother to the few pups she'd had. The scars she bore were evidence of her adventures.

In the last year of her life, she took notice of her adopted grandson Hambone and felt he had the makings of a future leader, thus naming him her heir accordingly. Some disputed this choice, and Hambone himself was unsure of his ability to take over, but she remained firm in her choice up until her death from old age. Some say they can still see her keeping watch over the pack from the stars.
