She's saddened sometimes by the harsh looks from judging pack-mates, but her brother Tsunami and friends Runi quickly cheer her up.
Torrent was exploring the camp one night when she found herself infront of a den she hadn't seen before, and hesitantly wandered in. As soon as she entered, she could feel eyes on her, but couldn't tell from where. "Hello, need something?", she jumped at the voice, her surprise quickly turning to confusion as she recognized the voice, but not exactly who's it was."Uh... hi", she murmured, barely spotting the grey eyes staring at her. "Who are you?" she asked, quickly becoming more confused at the hushed laughter coming from the eyes. Acorn padded into view, an ever so slight grin on his face, "Rather blunt for a pup, hm? I didn't think that I stayed in here that long that I'm not known among my pack".
Torrent felt bad at Acorn's words, her new frown and pinned ears and tail being a dead giveaway of her guilt. "Ey, I wasn't being serious, takes a blunt wolf to know one, but still, do you need something? Did Garnet try to hunt a Stag on their own again?".
Torrent felt a bit better at his words, albeit somewhat confused about the "again" of the question about Garnet, but giggled at it nonetheless, "Nothings wrong! I was just exploring, sorry!". Acorn just simply nodded, "It's no crime to come into my den, it's just not the most popular past-time for the pack.", he said as he turned around, moving a bit and becoming hidden by darkness.
Torrent approached the wolf, curious as to what he's doing, spotting the herbs she thought to herself, Right! Acorn's a Healer! Runic told me about it! She quietly watched Acorn work, fascinated by all the plants. She was snapped out of her thoughts as Acorn spoke, "You can visit whenever you'd like, you know, like I said it's no crime to be in here". Torrent nodded with a smile "Ok!".
Torrent padded into the Healer den at night, now an older adolescent, "Acorn?" she quietly asked, feeling a bit nervous. She had thought her question over and over again and had made her choice. Her nerves felt better and somehow became worse at the same time as she heard Acorn's voice and grey eye approach her. "What is it? Come to watch me work?", Acorn replied, having grown used to Torrent's excitement to watch him mix and sort herbs, he stopped walking as he saw the adolescents' nervous figure, "Hm, what's wrong?". Torrent took a deep breath, trying her best to speak confidently, "I want to be your apprentice.", she said, staring right at Acorn's unblinking eyes.
"Ok, you're my apprentice now.", Acorn barked nonchalantly. Torrent blinked in surprise, "Wait really!?". Acorn rolled his eyes, "Well, why not? You come in here to watch me work basically every day and are the only one who seems remotely interested in it." Torrent began to excitedly run and hop around Acorn, a wide smile on her face, "Thank you! Thank you thankyouthankyou-" Acorn cut her off, "Ok- Ok stop running you pup! You're going to make my head spin off! You're first day of training starts tomorrow, go get some sleep!" he shouted, his slight smile betraying his serious and annoyed tone.Torrent quickly nodded and dashed away, shouting as she left "Thank you again!".
