She came to their lands pregnant by a male who died and she was shocked to be allowed to raise her offspring. At the time the alpha female had no litter or heirs just her friend as heir to the throne. It was not what Sunny expected. When the boys wanted to leave Skylar took them to neighboring packs and paid the price of prey the other wolves wanted for their acceptance to make sure they had a good start. The female might be older than the other hunters but her experience comes in handy on difficult hunts. Skylar made it known early into her leadership that if one of her wolves wanted to breed outside the pack she would not chain them down, they were free to go or to raise their pups in a stable pack as they chose. Sunny loves her alpha and her family for it and she is not going anywhere.
