Wren

The Prince of the Sheer Cliffs Pack.

River and Flash's oldest son, and second oldest pup, Wren was going to be the Pack's Representative, however, he never really showed interest, instead preferring to relax or hunt. He did his best to live up to his parents' expectations - he didn't want to let them down! But leading was never something he wanted to do, or even really had the skills for: his sister, Murk, had that.

Eventually, another young wolf named Boulder was brought to the Pack, and the two became rivals for the role. For once, Wren seemed to have something to fight for, some reason to want to learn these things, as the two constantly competed against each other!

It wasn't until he was nearing the end of his training that Wren came to the realization that he didn't care about the position. He didn't want the position, he would actually much rather be with... Another male... With Boulder.

He tentatively admitted his feelings to Boulder first - the younger male had recently had his heart broken by Fern, the she-wolf who had come to the Pack with him, and he didn't want to take advantage of that- but was surprised to find the feeling was reciprocated!

The two finally announced their feelings to River - who was accepting, simply wishing she had known so she hadn't put the two in an uncomfortable position - leaving the Pack in search of a new Representative.

As the seasons passed, the two lived happy lives together, eventually adopting four pups. However, a sudden sickness spread through the Pack, quickly killing many. Boulder and Wren died together
